High-elevation sun makes afternoon shade valuable. In the fully shaded retaining wall bed: compatible with the consistent moisture shade-perennial scheme ([[Bigleaf Hydrangea]], [[Pulmonaria]], [[Astilbe Fanal]], ferns, [[Bleeding Heart]]).
